    Hi all,

I picked this up yesterday and it was extremely cheap  Cross is a WILM marked piece with a good length of non-combatant ribbon in a custom made case.Case has a glass lid for displaying the cross and has two attached brass rings on the back I presume for hanging the case on a wall?? Anyone seen hanging attachments like this before?

    Cheers

    Dave

Thanks Glenn! I think the hanging attachments are homemade, maybe by the guy that won the cross so he could display it at home??

    dave-

i've seen that case, but not the hangers, so

either a retail jeweller add-in, or home add-on,

but that is a VERY nice arrangement in what

looks to be very good condition, and a non-

    com ribbon to boot.

    you've done well!

The Twins discussed this today and I have a boomerang to toss..... but it's a GOOD one. We think your case actually dates to the 1870 era based on construction and the catch...... not such a bad thing, eh?

Yes, except now you have to find an 1870 NC EK2 to put in it!!

... and good luck with THAT quest Dave!

    Nice set.
