    1. My guess is most of the late awards, lets say 1918 and the post war "Abwicklungen" were indeed "KO"s.
    2. Are you referring to the knights cross 1 st class, or to the grand cross? If we're right assuming its abouth knights, Beau Newman yet stated the right numbers. I'm currently offering one of the ca. 4800 latter. ;)
    3. In my opinion, the ribboned one is the/an official type, while I consider the unribboned one to be a wearers copy.
    4. No problem about the different swords used on one bar, but the combination of awards is not really possible, as explained by Dave Danner. Nor can I find a possible wearer, of course...
    5. The club is know for his cast fake of the 1870 type B core. Some of the miniatures and ribbon bars might indeed be real. But why buy from such a person? I won't even order a piece of ribbon for 3 Euros from him anymore. All from his offer I'm confident with is standard stuff. And standard stuff I prefer to buy from other sellers.
    6. Question marks on this? Not really... it's just lovely. Had it in hands before.
    7. The Arabic inscription on Ottoman war medals. And I guess you can neither. It's a bout the date being spelled wrong... if I hadn't been told where's the date, I hadn't even recognized that.
    8. Well... I don't care about this at all, as none, really none of the German makers could actually read what they "wrote" there. I really don't see a problem in it.
    9. Not sure what it's exactely, but it's post-1945 (Western) Germany from its construction.
    10. And I still disagree. In my eyes, this is a modern fake. Not to be compared or even confused with old wearer's copies.
    11. I'm having the Bänderkatalog, but there are no non- or semiofficial ribbons in it, unfortunately.
    12. I think it's rather some non- or semi-official award from Prussia, possibly post-1918.
    13. I think there's a medal hanging, but I don't recognize it... maybe a Prussian long service award 2nd or 3rd class, if our guy used to be an career NCO? Or a Landwehr award 2nd class, if it's smaller than it seem to me... ?
    14. This precendece is also the size of the cities, which makes sense. If we take a look at Kaiser Wilhelm II.'s medal bar, he wore them the same. But other precendeces are known and usually hard to explain. Sometimes possibly without any reason.
    15. It could be navy either, right. The lack of any long service award makes me think officer, also it's very unlikely (still not impossible) for an EM to get bravery/war merit awards from four different states.
    16. I'm not sure, of course, if this is a mid-1930s bar. But I do't see that many red flags. I would neither. Young pre-war officer, Leutnant or Oberleuitnant in 1914, who yet got the EH3b, got an EK2, posibly EK1, and the HT in WW1... sounds fine! Precedence on the other hand isn't that much of an issue, from my experience.
    17. Most likely, I agree. One might have put it behind the Hassian medal, but hey, it's still a pretty enemal order. ;)
    18. Germany? Never seen them on any silver items. Mhh, odd...
