    2. his type is well-know and widely considered fake. If you search for "small crown fake" on this forum, you'll find a very educative thread here. There has also been some reference to these fakes in this long obsolete thread. Most striking feature is their die-struck and painted, though stepped core. Besides that, they're around as 1813, 1870, 1914 and even 1939 crosses... and all are from the same tools. I agree with this comment.

    7. Hi Scottplen, Although this thread is for the 1941 Model it is a nice small WW1 medal bar. Bear in mind that at the beginning of WW2 the leftovers of the WW1 Soldier Crosses were awarded with Awarding Documents dating the beginning till mid WW2 period like the New World post:

Hi 922F, Thank you for the information Very interesting, especially the fact that he got the Civil Division of the Order of St Alexander I suspect he received few luxury models decorations. he was well known of his extravaganza and love for luxury items. I am still chasing the name of the VIP from the previous post On this photo that I posted not long ago he is wearing the St Alexander Star. The photo was taken during a visit to Bulgaria.
