    1. Very interesting group, especially with the other citations and the document describing his deeds!!
    2. Really impressive lot, especially the medal combination of the bars makes it quite outstanding!
    3. Very interesting and impressive documents to a true frontline soldier, thanks for showing! He (most probably) got the Prussian War Service Cross for his service with a domestic reconnaissance / civil affairs unit. He was in touch with different civil authorities, political parties etc. and was highly regarded because of his excellent work (writing position papers etc).
    4. You´ve really acquired an amazing array of badges and medals!!
    5. Beatiful bar, more than one Hanseatic Cross on a bar is indeed quite rare!!
    6. Very nice set, I really like this old BW stuff! 18 months of compulsory military service were a long time ....
    7. Most impressive group, thanks for showing! It was good news, that he was appointed carrer soldier a few years ago, because of his severe wounds.
    8. Great, I´m also looking forward to see more, like this early Bundeswehr stuff!
    9. Nice medal bars, the Hungarian War Commemorative Medal for Non Combatants is a rare one!!
    10. Thanks for showing the other pages! A short summary: Recalled for WWI on 03.08.1914, woundet on 22.08.14, promoted to Gefreiter on 24.09.1915, got the Eisernes Kreuz II. 11. Interesting Book! Here you could download the 1941 Panzerjäger Edition: https://archive.org/details/Allmendinger-Gudio-Reibert-Die-Dienstunterricht
    12. If I read it correctly (better pictures would help) he was posted from 13.05-21.05 to the Minenwerfer Abteilung of Rgt. 73. Some of the information is unfortunately below the battle calendar.
    13. Seems to be an interesting Militärpass, would you show more pages? He received the Black Wound Badge on 18.07.1918 and fought till the last days of the war.
    14. Chris, I have a WWII Wehrpaß to a Leutnant d.R. Nikolaus Spanier who served with Maschinengewehr-Scharfschützen-Abteilung 69 from March 17 to Feb. 18 and was awarded the EK I on the 5th of July 1917. Could you maybe check, if he is mentioned in the magazine? (I will post his Wehrpaß on the next weekend.)
    15. This is an extremely interesting Soldbuch, I´ve only seen very very few examples, where enlisted men owned a private firearm!
    16. Yes, the 3rd Reich was really desperate in his final stage to scrape every man (who was at least partially fit for service) together. Have a look a this set, being nearly 60 years old and "bedingt kriegsverwendungsfähig: http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/topic/60693-wwi-militaerpass-jaeger-bataillon-wwi-wehrpass-documents/?hl=prasse

    18. He´s a Luftwaffe official with a rank equal to major, His ribbon bar: WWI EK2, Hessen Bravery Medal (I think), Ehrenkreuz für Frontkämpfer, Long Service Award (?). In his button hole he wears the War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords ribbon.
    19. Really impressive collection!!! I especially like the WWI Victory Medals!
    20. Nice Wehrpass for a man who served (almost) through the whole war. In my opinion the award of a KVK2mS in Dec. 1940 is quite early for a lowly enlisted man!
    21. SS Standartenführer Jakob Grimminger had the Coburg Badge, Golden Party Badge and the Blood Order. See the SS Dienstaltersliste 1942. Grimminger is Nr 45 (page 5). http://www.dws-xip.pl/reich/biografie/1942/1942A.html http://ww2gravestone.com/general/grimminger-jacob
