    1. Thanks new world. I am not an expert by any means and although I do my own reading and study before I make any purchase, it is always good to have another persons opinion on whether the pieces are original or not, your comments are appreciated.
    2. A 1916-18 Commemorative Cross with three bars:
    3. The Romanian Order of the Crown. Any opinions welcomed:
    4. I have this Romanian Order of Michael the Brave 3rd Class I purchased a few years ago. Would be great to get some opinions on it. Thanks.
    5. Enzo, yes it is up for auction.
    6. This looks close:
    7. Enzo, Thanks. The marks from left to right are an 'AZ' a 'greyhound head' and the letter 'A'. I do not own this item, so this is the best I can do with the picture I have, sorry for the blurriness.
    8. Sorry, I do not believe it is an unofficial medal.
    9. Any opinions on this Navy pilots badge:

    15. Jeff, The medal on the left looks like the Bukhara 'Bukhari-yi Sharif Medal for Military Service'. I found one on this internet site: https://www.numisbids.com/n.php?p=lot&sid=957&lot=3027 The second looks similar (although not the same) to this item at this website: https://www.emedals.com/russia-empire-emirate-of-bukhara-an-order-of-the-noble-bukhara-2nd-class-star-c-1893
    16. On the medal bar, nine in from the left. Brunswick's - Order of Heinrich the Lion Knight's Cross?
    17. dcollect, Not French but Austrian made. Here is a website that may be of some assistance: https://www.omsa.org/military-merit-medal-1917-1920-part-i/
    18. The clasp was awarded for service into the early 1900's, so I assume a recipient could have applied for one from 1930 and received the later medal and the clasp at the same time, just a thought. https://hmc2.pagesperso-orange.fr/en/spotl/colbars.html#algerie
    19. Not sure if this website is of any help: https://www.northeastmedals.co.uk/foreignguide/french/coloniall_medaille_coloniale.htm Looks like you have the 'Single sided suspension' made from 1930 - 1962.
