I have never seen one of those before!! It is a very high quality uniform! This guy was most likely a WW2 Bahnschutz veteran!! Very nice set! I am sorry to see it was broken up... -

Is being dry mounted a bad thing? Please forgive my ignorance here, but it seems like it would prevent it from tearing or falling apart due to bending and etc.

I agree Peter, There are tons of variations with these!! I have never seen a corded farriers badge in a collection before! If I find one, I will send it your way. I have quite a few trade badges as well(maybe 25-30) and they are very addicting. My favorite(other than the farrier) is the Sea Rescue badge! I would love to find a LW divers badge!

I will make some better photos of the tabs and the hanging loop in the collar of the tunic. I could not find any other tags or labels inside. -
Hey Lorenzo, Great video!! Lots of Shi'ite flags around! I did not see any rocks or shoes coming toward the camera! Hopefully you will be coming back home soon. BTW, the quality for the new Iraqi patches seems to be quite low(embroidery). There seem to be a lot of loose threads.

Everyone gets blessed from time to time!! It really pays to scour the vendor sites looking for bargains. Even dealers have bargains some times!!! The rarest of the rare coming to MY house!!!
