    1. That is really something cool. So he actually handled this document! Awesome score. That is not his signature, is it? I really like the patina'ed "DEMO" mark in the middle(joking).
    2. It looks as if he is wearing the medal in error. I could understand if he were a kid during WW1 and went on to fight in WW2, but he seems too young for that based upon the lack of WW2 medals.
    3. Very interesting. I will love to see some photos.
    4. Thanks for the information. There are a lot of options to play with there. I bet that a military baker would be an awesome job! He was always fed!
    5. Very nicely worn example there. You at least know that this one did not come from a warehouse box. It looks to be Air Force. The best part for me is the bullion cockade.
    6. Does anyone have any idea as to the number of Cuban awards were issued?
    7. Thanks Jock. I am not up on these. I am kinda shocked that they did not mark their musical instruments, as it seems as if everything from that time period was. It does have a lot of wear and patina.
    8. Is the "i.G." a permanent title once obtained? If so, could he have been in the General Staff and an earlier posting, returning to a recon unit after his time with the General Staff was over? How difficult is it to find old pips to replace the ones missing? Since you have a name, how difficult is it to do further research on this officer? He may have had WW2 time?
    9. My primary focus when it comes to WW2 Germany is LW Beamte. Sometimes, something pops into view that really speaks to me. This Heer Admin NCO board is one of them. I won it off of Ebay for less than 20 dollars, but for some reason, it seems to be worth a lot more just by its character alone. Does anyone know right off what the white nebenfarbe represents in the Heer?
    10. Very nice! Is it possible to access Canadian military archives? The photo adds a lot to this discussion. Can we see the medal, please?
    11. That is a very good question and one I have thought about myself. I dont have my books here. Does anyone know when it was established?
    12. Those are beautiful examples. Those are the first Iraqi Sewing Company slides I have seen in that ranking. I hope that someone is able to assist you in your search.
    13. Very interesting. I have never seen anything like this before. Perhaps a political flyer?
    14. That is really something. I wounder if these packs were used to hold food and etc on the planes for flight crews(larger aircraft). I love the condition of the leather. Very nice set.
    15. Very nice example. Did it come with the box and ribbon?
