saschaw Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 I owe you an apology and something worth looking at. Well, the Prussians are not that rare or scarce, but still nice! The (full size) Kassel cross is lovely. Actually funny, how close they were. They just borrowed the overall design of the award from Prussia, and the same is with the long service clasps for EM and NCO. Though, they were not made by the same maker as one could assume, but by a local one.
VtwinVince Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 As usual, some exceptional items on display here. Komtur, I have never seen the mini of the Silver Wedding badge before, outstanding.

rujab Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 and a Kriegsdenkmedaille 1814-1815 für Nichtskämpfer from Hessen. Hi Lars it is marvelous Rudi
gregM Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 (edited) EK2 1870 I love these--. There are neat but they are not actually German minis. These were made by Lowell Toy corp of New York and were given as prizes in cereal boxes way back when, There was a set of them you could collect which included the Victoria Cross and Silver Star among others. Here is one of mine still on it's card and in original plastic wrapper. There is a coupon inside that states that is you redeem 4 coupons and $1.00 You will receive a "Beautiful gold stamped album" to display them. Edited October 19, 2011 by gregM
gregM Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 (edited) While these are not strickly Imperial minis, They are still pretty cool little items and make a good addition to any EK collection. The back---- Edited October 19, 2011 by gregM

larsb001 Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Hello Maid. If I remember correctly this was on the German eBay some months ago, without a name. If this is correct this means that you have been able to identify the owner, which raises the question; How difficult is this for you? Asking because I have this: Regards, Lars
larsb001 Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Btw, I found this recently on eBay, very odd described. It's Reuss, Order of Art and Science, not often seen! Enjoy, Lars
gregM Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 as Claudius said---WOW. Great minis guys, Please keep them coming.
MAID Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 (edited) Hi Lars, the seller told me the name and the name is correct. Regards, MAID Edited October 20, 2011 by MAID

gregM Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 Greg ! It's post WWI period Items ? I am not 100% sure of the time frame but Yes I do believe that they are post 1918.
gregM Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 (edited) A new one for me. Silver plate Ek and the button device is 800 silver stamped. The silver has taken on a nice patina. Edited October 24, 2011 by gregM
saschaw Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 (edited) Here's a framed Baden/France set from circa 1860/70(?), at least the legion of Honour is a pre-1871 type. Edited October 24, 2011 by saschaw
saschaw Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 (edited) I actually bought this for re-selling, but once I had it in hand, I could not resist to put it into my collection. It's yet identified, of course, but I don't have the notepad handy. Edited October 24, 2011 by saschaw
