    1. John, I can only imagine....... you'll have to open that Aviation Museum soon so you can write off the expenditures!
    2. But Seriously. In the past 8 years I have watched aviation items come and go, badges, medals, etc...... most to unknown pilots & observers and the occasional known, but not real significant named group. This group is the most significant aviation momento I have seen in that entire time.... the history here is fantastic. Closest I could get was a foto album that belonged to a participant in the first of the bomber raids in heavy bombers......
    3. Hmmmm, story time eh? Well... I have some prime ocean-front real estate in Utah I can give you a deal on?!
    4. Nope, not my stuff, but before I consider it, always check with the pros..... These seem much better quality than what we usually see, but as Dave points out..... tremendously good fakes everywhere.....
    5. OK, I'm confused......... Does Luftmensch have this group or does Andreas????????
    6. These do not appear to be the garden variety fakes.... can anyone confirm that they are authentic? Thanks!
    7. Micha, I accept the mark as authentic. I am not convinced that this mark on a pilot badge is authentic. I think these pilot badges may be copies with false markings.
    8. ...... especially with Olympics service, Afrika Service, WW2 combat service and no long service medals at all. He should have at the minimum a 4-Year LSM
    9. There is a similarity between these images, have you looked on the back of the canvas/board to see if there's any writing/names/dates?
    10. I think Rick is grossly undervaluing these. I will buy every single one you can provide, assuming authenticity, for $30.00..... bring them on!
    11. Hi Paul, that's exactly what it is supposed to be. But I don't think it's real and I don't think even if it was that it was awarded to this guy. But that's going from rough photos.... It would be very surprising to find a Saxon Albert Order Medal (Type 1, less than 66 total awards from 1861-1866) on this bar.
    12. Hi gary, very nice assortment of tabs. I must say I like the ATC ones the best!
    13. Interesting sword. Surprised there's no maker's mark, especially with a Damascus blade
    14. Hi Micha, the square shows up on a number of WW1 EK1's and even on the pin of the occasional pilot badge. I'm not convinced yet that the PB's at least are authentic... The EK1's yes.
    15. Well, perhaps he suffered from "wishful thinking".... the scary part is this cost him a good piece of change to list it it at that level......
    16. "Correct number of Communists in combat" That's the first time I've seen that phrase used.......... Nice ORB & story
    17. And a rather neat find Chuck. How unusual is that!?
