    1. Nice! Lower administrative official or exam aspirant? I don't see any rank embroidery.
    2. Very cool! @ 1910?
    3. M. AK.= Marine Abschnittskommandeur (sector commander) I think M.A.za=Marine Artillery (or Abscnitt= sector), za- Zuegamt (ordinace dept.).
    4. THAT does look familiar....officers' bar too. Hmmmmmmm......I'd check the WAF old medals bar section first. i don't own it sadly.
    5. Darn@#! it!!! When did YOU....get collecting these? I thought I was safe! You now own one more of the stars than I do. Those didn't come from Lowell did they? Yeah-Charles turned me on to this country as well. Two enormous plastic bins later the stuff still keeps coming! Welcome to Hungary Stogie!
    6. In a word: WOW! Is this medal ever reproduced? It is very rare. CD-any chance there's an award roster of these ?
    7. Papst? I find noone by that name in the EK2 list and only one officer (a telegrah 2nd Lt. with the 6th army ) named pabst. May we see the documents please?
    8. Nice!!! :jumping:
    9. Uuuuummmmm...Stogie-is that for sale?
    10. Isn't that the Saxon Carola medal? Gold 46 awards: silver 927 awards: bronze 1052 awards. 1892-1915.
    11. I had no idea there were so many types!
    12. Hmmm...It could be either, but I think it is Barnes. Off to the GWForum! there's a chap there who has all the cites for 1914-19.
    13. Cool! Wasn't there also an Urkunde given to allow the brassards' wear?
    14. Oooohhh...my favorite medal. Whats' the name again?
    15. Not by the size I reckon. The medal I think is the Bavarian 1913 LS medal-given the other Bavarian cross. Of course, perhaps it might just be the bravery medal, but I'd be very surprised not to see an EK2 at least with that at the button hole.
    16. what about #3? Isn't that also a coup commemorative?
    17. I have seen a double Schwrzbrg somewhere- Rick would remember where. I doubt its' a Frankenstein as the ribbon bar makes sense too. I have seen combat/noncombat state awards like this before and its too "obvious" an "error" for a professional faker methinks. I totally see this as someone who got the medal again later on wearing either a suit or in an ersatz depot. I think the Schwrzbrg. rolls exist and if they do, maybe I can ID him.. Let me check .See the ribbon bar article for other oddities.
