    1. Outstanding. How much does that blade weigh?
    2. I never knew about the "flowered" hallmarked variations. Where did you discover the numbers on this one?
    3. Beau, Thank you for the detailed explanation. So Prussian bars could go either way, in most cases. You all have some mind blowing medal bars. This bar(Below) is simply amazing. Feldwebel Hermann Stude saw a lot of history: Second Schleswig War and BOTH wars of unification. WOW. He has the full house going on there. I bet he had a lot of great "war stories."
    4. Welcome Malinovsky! I look forward to seeing your collection!
    5. I bet that these still go for 1000s a piece though... What is the difference between a land pilot badge and a regular pilot's badge? Is it in the role?
    6. Thank you. I found some more shoulder boards this week. :-)
    7. Very interesting topic. That last bar; what was the rank of the owner? He definitely made it around.
    8. Uhm... G-3 Psh-41 MP40 M4 And the pink M4 for the spouse.
    9. I purchased this Zimmerman to complete a grouping. This is the first DKiG I've held, much less owned. I am surprised at how light weight it is. There is a number "20" stamped inside of the pin. I could not get the photos to come out of the marking.
    10. Very interesting research here. Is there any way to get more information on this man? Awards won and etc?
    11. It has been some time, but things are starting to come together. Here is where we are on this project now. I have remaining to obtain: 1. Medal bar with EK2/Heeres 4 Jahr/Schutzenwall Medals 2. 2x Tank Destruction Badges 3. Ehrensblatt der Heeres Clasp 4. DRA Badge in Bronze Various shoulder boards for his ranks held, with unit cyphers: IR 18- Soldat IR 236- Oberfeldwebel/Oberleutnant/Hauptmann IR 58- Hauptmann Infantry Lehr- Major
    12. Very attractive medal. Anyone know what it was awarded for? Lets see the reverse!
    13. It looks like these were added onto the photo. I've seen cases where people were promoted or awarded medals which the family had professionally added to already existing military portraits
    14. Very interesting. I am sorry that I have nothing of real value to add other than I've never seen anything like them before.
    15. I have a two types of Prussian Lifesaving Medal and a Third Reich version. I know that each of the German states had one as well.
    16. Other than the photos being upside down, I dont really see any problems. It looks like a cool set to me. How many award documents are there in there?
    17. How are you finding all of these? Very cool Frank.
