    1. Thanks Elvis, The red stripe is a soft velvet like material. Paul
    2. Not so rare, but a nice Kiev Medal(1960s issue).
    3. Thanks Scott!! I could not have done it without you! It is really good to see you here!
    4. This stuff is THAT rare!! That is one great certificate. If you ask me, the pinnacle of advancment certificates.
    5. More great stuff!!! Where do you find all of it? I would have thought that those CTs were related to the Stahelm organization.
    6. Michel, Thanks for the translations. You really have some great historical items. The one with the U-Boat badge is most desirable. Gingerbread, Where did you find all of these U-Boat parts?
    7. Hi Ed, It is great to see you. Anyway, I have had the boards for a while. The actual green uniform and lanyard are what was given to me. The shoulder slides rank just under General Field Marshall(Saddam). This uniform would be worth thousands, if it were attributed to a certain person(as I do not think that more than a small handful of men attained this paygrade). I am still learning about the Iraqi insignia as well. I do not think that the uniform itself is named, however it is a worn set. There are signs of fading, as the material is dark green under the collar and under the area on the shoulder strap, where the slides would fit over. There are some Arabic script areas on the inside trouser lining. Perhaps a name? I will make some scans. Paul
    8. Not pictured, but trousers were also present! All very nicely sun faded, with areas under the collar and where the shoulder slides were placed are still dark green. There are no tags present. This material is VERY light weight.
    9. I have finally assembled a really nice Col General's ensemble. The uniform was given to me by a fellow collector!
    10. Perhaps it is the lighting from the scanner, but the material looks funny. I am not an expert on these at all, but we do have a few here. I look forward to seeing their assessments.
    11. Now that is a great poster~!! Nice medal view!! Now we know how to mount your medals!!
    12. I dont think that it is fake at all... I think it could be something a bit more special.
    13. That is an interesting one! Not a Mother Theresa!
    14. thanks for posting the image, Ivan. There has to be more information out there, somewhere! I hope that you are able to find more!
    15. That is a very nice family grouping. I also love what you have done on your website!! How long did it take you to do all of that?
    16. That is a really cool piece Rick!! Where did you find that one?
    17. Thank you for sharing those wonderful photos, Robert! And a welcome to Ivan! I hope to see you around!
    18. That is some really great stuff!!! A nice photo of the rank of Stabsfeldwebel in the Soldbuch as well! I am very envious! I wonder if he served as a Musikleiter with all of those units or if he went on to serve as a combattant, as the war progressed. I do not recognize that conductor. Do you have a name for him? Welcome to the GMIC, HMVSCF!
    19. I agree with you 100%. I was not saying that it was a Native American battle axe, but it resembled one. I do not think that it is supposed to represent a Fire Fighting axe at all. I think that it is a ceremonial representation of a battle axe. I look forward to reading more input was well!!
    20. Damage definitely came from behind... I sure hope that it did not come off it's owner like that!
    21. That looks more like a native American Tomahawk some sort of battle axe. It does not have any qualities I have seen in a Fire Fighting axe.
