Chris Boonzaier Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Cammanding the 1st Reserve bavarian Jägers
Guest Rick Research Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 I've never actually seen Scheuring's face larger than the size of a pea before. Is the MONSTROSITY below his EK1 airbushed in like his shoulder boards are? He made Major 03.11.14 so with what look like correct end of war awards otherwise, wonder what the photo "issue" was with his boards.... BTW thanks for helping run up my numbers today--The Moment is FAST approaching, now....
Chris Boonzaier Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 No Airbrush... from what I see only the boards have been "improved"
Guest Rick Research Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 That... THING is bigger than the Grand Cross of the Unrequited Order of the Bifurcated Voles Of Pandemia With Inboard Oars!!!!!!!!!
Chris Boonzaier Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 A total dud I think.... he sells a lot of them.....
ccj Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 My understanding is this order is still being produced and awarded
bolewts58 Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 (edited) Does this one have a chance... ? This was discussed at length on Feldgrau. It's considered either an outright fake or a modern re-design being awarded by David Bagrationi of Mukhrani, self-styled Prince of Georgia. In any case, the period ones were never made with rounded rays like this one. These turn up periodically in blue, or black with a red band. IMO these are just fakes. The seller in question is not known for selling anything but fakes and is either an alternative name of the crooks in Aaachen or affiliated with them. Edited December 22, 2014 by bolewts58

Eric Stahlhut Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 (edited) don and bryan, as you can see, my cross appears to be from same maker as well. i checked my scale and it is correct. cross hovers between 22,9 and 23 gr. we have 3 very similar examples with a relatively large disparity in weight-- Edited July 10, 2015 by Eric Stahlhut typo
