Mattyboy Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 Not sure if he has been listed already: Lt dR Karl Lehmann - IR 94 https://zs.thulb.uni-jena.de/rsc/viewer/jportal_derivate_00258970/JVB_19190225_047_167758667_B1_004.tif?logicalDiv=jportal_jpvolume_00303375&q="Karl Lehmann"
Daniel Krause Posted December 10, 2020 Author Posted December 10, 2020 Thanks to all... @Webr, for Eiselen I have my doubts. He should be a Württemberg guy, but I have no WM3 for him... will dig a bit if I find something more about him. Best, Daniel
Daniel Krause Posted December 10, 2020 Author Posted December 10, 2020 Dear friends, this thread is already a couple of years old. in 2008 I had 7575 HOH3X on my list. Today, with all your help, and very special thanks to everybody who contributed here, and very very special thanks to my "main contributors" like Dave Danner, WebR and Mattyboy, this number raised up to 7888. So "only" 403 out of the 8291 HOH3X - holders are still missing. Best, Daniel 2
Mattyboy Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 (edited) Hi Daniel, Make that 402! Rittm Walter Heymann (also served in Flieger Abt 256). From the Dresdner Nachrichten dated 14.01.1933. Edited December 10, 2020 by Mattyboy 1
Mattyboy Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 I know you have him already, but here is some award info for Hptm Oscar Hartung. From the Gothaische Zeitung dated 10th April 1918:- 1
webr55 Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Not sure: are we looking for Komture too? Asking because GL George von Engelbrechten is not listed, but he cannot be a new case: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_von_Engelbrechten
Claudio Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 Dear forumites, I’m not sure if Generalmajor der Polizei Hans Daeuwel’s HHOX was already mentioned in this thread: I’m however still missing the date of bestowal for his HHOX. Cheers, Claudio 1
Daniel Krause Posted December 15, 2020 Author Posted December 15, 2020 @WebR, Komture as well :-) Engelbrechtens was published 29.05.18 in the Staatsanzeiger, 22.06.18 in the MWB. @Claudio, Daeuwels HOH3X was never published in the usual sources. Best, Daniel

Mattyboy Posted December 15, 2020 Posted December 15, 2020 A few more names. Not sure if they are new additions or not. Ewald Hecker, Alexander Oldenbourg, Franz Ullrich. https://digital.slub-dresden.de/werkansicht/dlf/310042/459/?tx_dlf[highlight_word]=Hausorden Hohenzollern https://digital.slub-dresden.de/werkansicht/dlf/310042/837/?tx_dlf[highlight_word]=Hausorden Hohenzollern https://digital.slub-dresden.de/werkansicht/dlf/310042/1177/?tx_dlf[highlight_word]=Hausorden Hohenzollern 1
webr55 Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 Great source! Alexander Oldenbourg and Franz Ullrich seem to be new ones. Ullrich might be spelt differently in other sources.
webr55 Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 The Hptm dR Laubert in our list seems to be the later Professor Manfred Laubert (1877-1960): https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manfred_Laubert
webr55 Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 This mentions a Hans Roth (1896-1958) with HHOX who was a pastor in Oldenburg, so different from the Generalmajor Hans Roth: https://www.kirche-oldenburg.de/fileadmin/Redakteure/PDF/rittner_roth_bultmann.pdf
webr55 Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 Paul Plohmann died 1940, he was "Sportschriftleiter des Königsberger Tageblattes". Source: Deutsche Presse, Band 30 (1940)
Daniel Krause Posted December 16, 2020 Author Posted December 16, 2020 great stuff!!! Bornheim is indeed new. About Oldenbourg - not sure if we have a period mistake among Wilhelm and Alexander Oldenbourg. Best, Daniel
webr55 Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 Alexander and Wilhelm (certainly brothers) were two different ones. The Wilhelm in the list was born 1875, while the Alexander found by Matty was born 1881. Wilhelm is this one: https://www.deutsche-biographie.de/pnd143521683.html
Daniel Krause Posted December 17, 2020 Author Posted December 17, 2020 yes, right. But I have Wilhelm as HOH3X-holder too. So not sure if both brothers got the HOH3X or if Wilhelms listing is a mistake for Alex. Best, Daniel
webr55 Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 (edited) Ahh yes - you are right! Here is the proof, we just need to look at the following page of the Deutsche Wirtschaftsführer volume that Mattyboy found: no HHOX for Wilhelm! (I would bet he would not have left that out.) De Edited December 19, 2020 by webr55
webr55 Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 From the same volume: a first name and more info about Kurt Feller: More info on Heinrich Post, same volume:
webr55 Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 And Paul Weyermann, he might be a new one too: And a new White Falcon as well, Max Hanemann:
webr55 Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 He is in the White Falcon list, but here is the first name and more info on Kurt Engländer:
webr55 Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 More info on one of the Sippels, Lt dR Hermann Lion Sippel: From Börsenblatt für den Deutschen Buchhandel, 01.04.1937
