Appears to be a well worn tunic . but unusual are the Swedish cuffs and the absence of the breast pockets. apart from that the buttons looks bright as if they were those of the peacetime tunic for Saxon Generals.

Hi Graham, thanks for your kind word.

You have got two very nice crosses. Congrats. The most difficult will be to find boxes to go with them.

    Beautiful Komtur.

Thanks Chuck and Christophe, yes the boxes are far more difficult to find.

@Graham : you have another nice medal, congrats.

@Komtur : You are lucky to have the Kielmansegg medal bar. It is strange that the SA3a he received on 24 May 1909 is not on his medal bar. I don't know why he never received the SH3 or SA2BX.

    I like the old SV3aX

Wow great medal bar! I wonder why it is arranged this way, shouldn't the iron cross be on the first place, than the saxonian and then the war merit cross from Brunswick be in the 3rd place? Bu a real beauty. Congratulations on this one!

    Hello

Recently I have bought this nice card. Here is Leutnant d. R. Walther Kleeberg from IR 134.

    He received the

    SH3 on 8 December 1916

SV3bX after May 1918 (not on the Roth's book)

    SA3bX on 30 November 1915

    HE3X on 2 May 1918

With that photos a new SV3bX is discovered. Now there is 1882 Saxon officers who received it.

you can see that Kleeberg choose to wear the HE3X ahead the iron cross 2nd class against the rule. The photo has been taken in 1921

    Hi

Here is my new photo, one officer of IR 106 with his nice medal bar. For the occasion he wore his Feldbinde, gloves, swords with Portepee and his nice Pickelhaube.

A very nice picture. I wonder if the EK1 was later added to the picture? Rässler stands at an angle to the camera but the EK1 seems to be photographed straight from the front.

    Kind regards, Laurentius
