    1. I think that the reason for the lack of black admin tabs is their late institution date(1944). The Crimson and wine red tabs are rare but not impossible to find. There are other colors I have seen as well that I have not seen published in the reference books. Ihave a set of the blue admin tabs. I am guessing that they are medical related.
    2. Yes!! That is the coat I remember seeing!! Ultra rare... perhaps one of a kind!! I love it!! I am sure that you must be very happy with it! I would be and I dont even collect this area!
    3. I did not think that the VFW actually had uniforms. I figured that the vets wore their old service uniforms. That is a very cool photo! Thank you for sharing it with us!
    4. That is an interesting bar! When was he awarded the RK? At least six years had passed between the between institutions of the HK and the RK. I guess that updating the ribbon bar was not a priority for him?
    5. Thanks for the additional photos. Did this tunic come from Bill Shea? It looks like this wearer had a larger abdominal girth to him! Are there any stamps inside of the tunic?
    6. I dont understand... I would have figured that he would have been in more trouble for not taking up arms after being encircled. Why would he have been in trouble for becoming a Partisan. Why was he NOT in trouble from ditching his uniform and living the civilian life after being encircled?
    7. Ed, There look to be many layers to this award. Do you have them all? If so, can you please make a photo of each and arranged in an order of precidence? I have learned so much from you. Thanks again, Paul
    8. Hi Ed, I never tire of seeing your groupings. You have some of the most amazing historical groups. Anyway, what was the Indian Title Badge awarded for? Was this a high level service award? Paul
    9. That is a great grouping Bill. I look forward to the translation of the citation. I think it most interesting that he also received the Victory over Japan as well!
    10. You have hit the mother load, regarding FG photos. I did not even know these guys existed.
    11. Hi Camonut! Welcome to the GMIC! It is great to see you!. I would love to see some more photos of the M40 TeNo Tunic. I have never seen that configuration. Are there any stamps inside the tunic, on the liner?
    12. Lets see more of that grouping!! This is great stuff!
    13. That is a great photograph. I would love to see an original tunic with period applied veterinary insignia!
    14. Now that is great!!! :jumping:
    15. Spectacular find. I am surprised that his professional talants were not used during the war.
    16. That is an awesome grouping, Rick. All I have is a five place medal bar with commemoratives.
    17. Nicely done! I think that these are rarer than the 1939 types! :jumping:
    18. I cannot help here, but I am amazed with your photo here! Very nice !
