    1. Thanks for sharing the photos. It looked like a great vacation. What was the American Quarter like? I cannot get over the amount of Artillery there!!!
    2. I am not a badge man, but it looks great to me. Any ideas as to the maker?
    3. Those are some spectacular uniforms!! What would a medical uniform look like?
    4. Mocha... I could do with one of those right now. Seriously, I have not seen that mark before. Great find!
    5. I am sure that they appreciated the attention, but I am sure that the Commanders did not know what to make of their unit being a touting point for the Germans ! LOL!
    6. It is a beautiful award. I am betting that only the highest level officials(military) would be entitled to it. Any clues as to the time frame of it's use? Paul
    7. Hi Ed, The two medals you linked were for military/police wounded in the line of duty. The one initially posted is thought to be for civilians(perhaps killed by the Japanese)? The colors on the ribbon are reversed. New award for the database, Ed?
    8. No worries. You know more about this area than I probably ever will. I thought that I had mis learned something... :
    9. Here is a very nice Medium Career Grade Oberfeldwebel(Thank you Francois!).
    10. Here is a portrait photo of an unnamed Administrative Oberfeldwebel. Notice the center silver cord in the shoulder boards. This is along with the broken green/silver collar tab piping indicate that he was in the "Medium Career Level".
    11. Now that is some great information!!! Thank you! So the General has Order of the Trinity?
    12. Thanks for the details, Kev!! Lets keep the decorated female warrior photos coming! Paul
    13. I think that it is a great job. There are many possible medals that can fit on the last two ribbons. Knowing the proper one is an accomplishment in its own! Also, there is nothing bad about giving praise to someones beloved collectibles or collections. What SPAM post are you referring to? Kind regards Paul
    14. With the air wings... what is the difference between the British and the Australian versions?
    15. Would these awards be dropped with the HK? These are not commemoratives, are they?
    16. That is a great photo! I would have thought that he would have gotten a higher medal than an ARCOM... unless he was a much junior ranking at the time of the award.. They have very attractive and colorful uniforms. I cannot wait to see the verdict on the #1 ribbon. Paul
    17. Interesting that she has the DRA badge, versus the NSDAP DRL version.
    18. Nesredep , So she was an actual combatant? Ulsterman, That is a great photo. Does it have a date written on the back?
