I was under the impression that in order to be a non US citizen and join the military, the enlistee had to be from a US territory(Puerto Rico, Wake, Philippeans-until 1991, and persons with a certain type of visa).

Could it be some poor tailor made glider badge?

In my opinion, the LS medals are fakes.

Could these be for the highest rank in the RLB(President)? They were in my friends collection for 3-4 decades. He collects mainly SS and he sent them to me. He is an experienced collector but is not sure if they are repro or not. The quality is very good for a 30-40 year old repro. I am thinking that it could be original. Thoughts are encouraged and welcome! Are there any known repro insignia made in this manner? Regards Paul
