    6. That's an EXCELLENT idea!!! I am working on an Inventory of my medals. My insurance agent is coming over to take pics of them and would like to know an average value of the collection for total replacement. I'm also working on a CD-Rom of my documented groups with all medals (Obverse & Reverse), serial numbers, name of recipients and scans of All award documents. I'll add a numismatic description of the medal(s) and general condition of the Group or Medal. I've started with one of my South African Air Force mechanics group. I'll post the page when I finish it. Doc

    18. Lucasz, Here is what I received from Prof. Wesoloski regarding your badges: On your request for identification. The photo enclosed is Association Surveyors Badge In Polish ZWIAZEK POMIAROWYCH or it could be ZWIAZEK POCIAGOWYCH Rail Association Badge. Now about the others, I would have to see the photo. In my collection I have many rail and auto badges BOTH military and associations The legal badge I also would like to see the photo but I think he is referring to my figure number; 1098 the 18th century POLISH JUDGES AND BARRISTERS BADGE The 2nd badge is a rail association badge, very old and rare. The 3rd badge is the 19th century legal badge. It is worth form $1,000 and up The 18th century is also $1,000 Doc
    19. I collect them because of 1. The research and 2. Many Orders are beautiful and well crafted. And 3. There are so many Orders and Medals types and variations to collect. It's mainly because I can get the research and find out about the recipient. That's the same reason i collect British ODMs. Doc
    20. Lukasz, I'm checking with my sources. Hopefully I'll have an answer soon. Doc
    21. Guys, A little help, PLEASE. What is the significance of these tri-fold EKs? Is it a country's way to award/display them? A matter of personal taste? This arena is not my strong point. Any information would be appreciated. Doc

    23. Well said, Ed!!! It's NOT the medal...It's the Man or Woman and their actions behind the Medal. Doc
