Looking my stuff this evening, I noticed that I have actually few pretty nice old style bars as well.

So, whay not post them up here. Please post yours as well!

My ultimate trapetz bar is of course 6 place Garde Regiment one with Imperial Russian awards.

I have posted this one before, but it seems appropriate to bring it up again here. This is one which was kindly identified by Prof. Lundstr?m as having belonged to Otto von Strahl, Adjutant, Royal Hoffmeister, Kammerherr, and Hoffmarshall to HRH the Landgraf von Hessen und bei Rhine.

so that still is for just 1 decoration, right? or did the lippe deco's have the same ribbon, I mean this is so broad-looking...

David , it is for 2 decorations. In Schaumburg-Lippe some awards / orders had the same ribbon colours (as in most other states and duchies too...) - in this case here there are some possible combinations and we will never know for shure...

sad...I guess they did not figure that out when they established these decorations. Still looks prett though!

I'm really deep impressed. Specially about the mecklenburgian bars. It's should be not so difficult to identify the former wearer.

Unfortunately I'm at the moment not at home and have no possibilitys to search in my list.

    Regards from Taipei / Taiwan

... Here is my not only one, but my most beautyful one...

That one is quite cute

I´ve got only a few, for instance that typical bavarien one. To wear with or without medals, unfortunately I purchased it without. Even if the ribbons are glued, it looks origin.

    Regards, Komtur.
