A nice Type 3.2, Ferdinand, though damaged and then badly and clumsily repaired.

I can't imagine fakes of any except the first (two flags) vartiety. Though, who knows, everything else in the universe seems to be faked these days, so why not the humble Polar Star? :banger:

And the back, someone has put some paint? or something on the rivets, maybe some sort of repair?

Maybe I should only show the backs, I suppose everyone know how the fronts look like.

Well here is number 5526 anyway

Keep 'm coming - love it when they're boxed and even more so when they have "character" due to repairs or other strange things

One more bizarre datapoint in the totally nonsensical breakdown of types and varieties and chronology of the 'Polar Star'. There is NO REASON why a type 3.1 Cyrillic 'Polar Star' like this should have reported number range of 2-6952 while the earlier bichig range ended at 2878. To make ANY sense of the 'Polar Star' we NEED the rolls and chronology to overlay our understanding!!
