    1. I will say from a US perspective; the same reason as why there is not any 5-star generals in the US; special rank for special time.
    2. Thank you for your response. I didn’t think it was that old- was thinking it was wwii-1960s era. Awesome news.
    3. I do not know. Thanks for your response and everyone Else’s. I will have to notecard that one for reference.
    4. Nice set of Tinnies. The more that I read about the SA(last couple of years), I am starting to think that they made things to wear on The uniforms for the members who were post WWI members so they also had their bling. Thoughts?
    5. I don’t know who this is, but this is my favorite Imperial German unit. Notice the NSDAP early uniform. Was a PLM winner. And Yes the autograph is authentic. like I said, Over the years I forgot his name, but it is one of my favorites. If someone knows who it is, please let me know so I can write it down.
    6. I find this particular medal interesting. It almost seems like a Iron cross given for people who didn’t earn them to make them feel good. as war came to be (1939), I could see how swing someone with a fake iron cross could bro about some emotions especially with the ribbon. Think about seeing that ribbon in a button hole on a uniform.
    7. That is an Amazon. Bar and amazing story. Thanks for sharing. How did you find who it was attributed to?
    8. Honestly, I would custom make something and get glass cut for it. I have some awesome German Knights Cross winner photos, feldposts and in some cases ribbons bars with them. I drew out ideas of how I want to frame them and just make it myself to have to pay a professional. Stole the idea from a friend. Looks very nice.
    9. That is interesting; I never knew that. I know after WWI, most medals besides gallantry were not named, besides on rare conditions like an issue of medals to a family member of a fallen warrior
    10. What a great Collection. There is some beautiful with British awards that set them apart from all others.
    11. Great now that German TR is way over priced. Now people moving to something else to fake
    12. I recently found this medal at a thrift shop here in the US for $5. Could someone tell me what it is? Whether Civil or Military? What ribbon goes with it. I looked all over for it online and can’t find it. Not well versed in Japanese Medals, but for $5, I thought is was worth a chance. thanks in advance. Back.
    13. Nice and interesting bar; I find it interesting that he has a EKII and Silver Merit Medal with a Hindu Cross without swords. It would be awesome to find out the history of the original owner.
    14. You may have better luck on the WAF; they love to to tell you an ss item is not real, however, I hope that is not the case.
    15. This is a British bar. Possibly an American who served in the British forces then sometime in the war transferred back to the us forces in some aspect on the home front I personally know of a a now passed wwii vet that has an identical ribbon bar like this who served as I mentioned.
    16. Very interesting; where did you find something like that? I never have seen one.
    17. I am assuming he started back in the day with lose medals that were original; since those have dried up and the amount of money he makes on fakes, he can buy higher quality fakes, then fabricate the bars. Really the whole collecting hobby has been really sad the last few years. the whole thing is just disheartening
