Paul R Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Here are a few of mine... Not as grand as many of yours, but I still love them!
Ulsterman Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Nice ones Paul-esp. the bottom one. I really like it.
Kapitular Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Having trolled the1910/1912/14 ranklists that last bar is fascinating. I think I may know who or what that man was.Are you speaking about my bar? That would be very great!!!! Since more then two years I am searching the owner, up to now no success.Best regardsKapitular

922F Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 I need to check with RR, but I am looking at Pfarrer lists. The Belgian one really throws me though-This ex-Colson bar likely has the Belgian Crown substituted for something else---when Tony held it speculative thoughts were something Reuss [as Kapitular posits] or maybe a Bulgarian St. Alexander. Seem to recall that the backing had been resewn at one time or another. As mentioned elsewhere, some BE Crown bestowals can be traced and others, not. Good luck.
Guest Rick Research Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 After prolonged digging, George Seymour FOUND that guy, but all I can remember is that he was a "Dr." not necessarily medical-- some sort of civil servant. But remembering 30 years of phone conversations is more than my tired old brain can magically conjure up. From the sources which I have on hand for W?rttemberg, I haven't been able to refind him.I know that he WAS listed in the 1908-09 Orders Almanac with details on birth date and plaee.

Noor Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Few more...Something from Prussia-Hessen and Turkish...Same owner some years later
Noor Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Guy with Hansa crosses...and LOVELY device to have I think
Beau Newman Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 And one of my favorites. The zinc pieces show their age but, that Schwarzburg Sondershausen 2nd Class still shines like new.
Ulsterman Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 My only Nichtk?mpfer....Oh-ho! He might well be tracable! Noncom. EK2 means medical and with a combat campaign medal- hmmmmmm!
Wild Card Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 My only Nichtk?mpfer.... Well, if you are to have only one; to me, this is certainly about as good as it gets. Congratulations Motorhead!
Motorhead Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Yes,this is my only non combatant medal bar -@Ulsteman: The seller told me that this is the bar of Dr.Franz Emil Wittichen.Micha
Komtur Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Don?t remeber, if I showed this bar before, but it fits fine here:
