Richard Gordon Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 Building it was a nightmare but the end result was worth it, no?
Richard Gordon Posted April 30, 2008 Author Posted April 30, 2008 With the doors closed the sections are nicely framed...

Chris Boonzaier Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 That is a wonderful display... both the cupboard and the goodies...When you say "Build" do you mean you are a Do It Yourself king... or an Ikea Screwer togetherer ?BestChris

Ikea screwer togetherer but a solo effort ! Just me and the cordless hand-drill! The wife just looked on...
Danny70 Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 Richard -That is a fantastic display!! and as for the contents.... I'm speechless!Excellent job indeed.Just me and the cordless hand-drill! The wife just looked on...When doing jobs like that, I usually get some really helpful comments like, "Is it meant to take this long?" or "Are you nearly finished?" and when combined with a 2 year olds help (stealing screwdriver, removing pieces, chewing screws etc.) it turns any DIY project in my house into a nightmare! Congratulations again, definitely worth the hassle.Regards - Danny

martinhtaylor Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 Hi Richard.Blimey...you have been busy since we last hooked up in Belfast. That is an amazing collection and a grand display cabinet as well. Well worth the age it must have taken to bang it together.German crosses always do it for me...sigh.Whats Belfast like these days? I'm in Edinburgh, do miss my nights out in Auntie Annies and the class Chinese takeaway directly opposite it, the best chips and curry sauce I have tasted. Class act me!Very impressive!!!!!
buellmeister Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 Richard, You display case is fabulous! It really "Showcases" your collection. Well Done!
