    House Order of Hohenzollern - info needed

    Recommended Posts

    Hmm, and again it approves that no bar disapperars: Claudio's new bar has ben published in Nimmergut's book "Orden Europas" (1991) and is valued there with 3,000.- to 3,100.- Euro. Claudio, I hope you didn't pay more?! :shame::rolleyes:

    Now comes me to mind that it came up even earlier at some Klenau auction, presumably in the late 70s or 80s. :love:

    Edit:

    back to topic, I don't think I've got any bar or document related to Hohenzollern that has not y e t been shown here, sorry ... :(

    PS:

    But if I remember correctly, I have not yet shown better pictures of this one:

    Thanks a lot and let them coming...

    Don't know if this helps as it is without a name, but I've had this photo in today's post: a Kriegsmarine offcer with a 14 place ribbon bar, and the first time in my life I recognized all of them (well, one is not sure). I've always had problems with ribbon bars on photos, but ... :love:

    Old Erich, back again! Not Hessen, though, but Oldenburg - and an Oldenburg Peter Friedrich Ludwig.
    You mean Dr. phil. h.c. Erich Raeder? Ooops, should have recognized him ... :speechless:

    The awards updated is:

    - Preu?en, Eisernes Kreuz 1914 II. Klasse;

    - Preu?en, Hausorden von Hohenzollern, Kreuz der Ritter mit Schwertern;

    - Preu?en, Roter Adler-Orden, Kreuz IV. Klasse mit der Krone;

    - Preu?en, Dienstauszeichnungskreuz der Offiziere;

    - Dt. Reich, China-Denkm?nze f?r Nichtk?mpfer(?);

    - Preu?en, Centenarmedaille (1897);

    - Bayern, Milit?r-Verdienstorden IV. Klasse mit der Krone und Schwertern;

    - Oldenburg, Verdienstorden, Ritterkreuz II. Klasse;

    - Dt. Reich, Ehrenkreuz f?r Frontk?mpfer (1934);

    - ?sterreich, Orden der Eisernen Krone III. Klasse, vermutlich mit Kriegsdekoration;

    - ?sterreich, Milit?r-Verdienstkreuz III. Klasse mit der Kriegsdekoration;

    - Ungarn, Weltkriegs-Erinnerungsmedaille(?);

    - Osmanisches Reich, Silberne Kriegs-Imtiaz-Medaille;

    - Osmanisches Reich, Kriegsmedaille.

    The Ottoman was a mistake, too. Fixed both, now correct? Marianercross is unlikely, anything else possible on this ribbon #12? Thanks in advance ... :lol:
