larsb001 Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 ... any reason for the 4 missing eagles on the Stanislaus?
saschaw Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 No idea. But it doesn't seem there ever were any. Should have been eagles and swords, buy the way. The Tunisian order, as officer's grade, is as well missing a rosette. They probably just missed all that out as it's to small.
Wild Card Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 larsb001, Your minis in posts #281 and #282 are not only of outstanding quality, but have to be extremely rare as well. Congratulations! While I am here, I thought that I would offer this.
larsb001 Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Wild Card, what a beautiful miniature! You may be interested in seeing the lower grade (cannot remember if I have showed this before), here it is:
dedehansen Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 My first 1870 minichain that I bought a couple of years ago
gregM Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 That is a great chain. Nicely detailed Ek and Oaks.

Peter J Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 It's nice to see this tread go on. One of my later acquisitions, nothing special, but I really enjoy the ornamented button by Meybauer. Definately the first one for me. I hope you enjoy. 1
marrauder Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 Thanks, Greg. Curiously, it came with Niemann COA, :D
dedehansen Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Hello Gents, one of my favorite Minis, I hope You enjoy it too Andreas
marrauder Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Hm, hm, indeed, very interesting piece and unique as well - if original. But I see some question marks on it. Can we see some closeups? Thanks in advance
saschaw Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Question marks on this? Not really... it's just lovely. Had it in hands before.
Hauptmann Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 # 315... LOVELY! Any chance it could be ID'd? Dan
dedehansen Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 # 315... LOVELY! Any chance it could be ID'd? Dan Hello Dan, I tried but I wasn´t very successfull ! I have the Feldspange from this man too and I will post it later . Andreas
Hauptmann Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Would LOVE to see it! Many thanks! :jumping: Sure wish Rick were on as if anyone could ID it it would be him. Dan
marrauder Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Hm, I am always aware when seeing 1914 spange, maybe just the "reflex" of beginner, heh. And some ribbons look to be in newer condition than others... But if you say, saschaw, it is good, than ok, I learned something. But some closeups will be appreciated anyway :)
speedytop Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Hi, this is a nice mini too, and the ribbons don'l look to be in newer condition than others... I hope, that it is allowed here, because there is no real mini on it? Uwe
marrauder Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Beautiful Sachsen. There is no mini, but it is style I like. Firstly, the central ribbon is sewn tight, so the ribbons create bow look. I don´t like when mini looks like jukebox, which you can upgrade - or degrade - anytime you want. Secondly, six half-ribbons in three bows, hmmm, decent tailor´s work that makes mini not only nicer but also more trustful. Again, just my thoughts. Regards

Thanks in advance Hello marrauder, the Mini I posted is complete in mint condition ! But now a better photo. I hope I could dispel Your doubts. Cheers Andreas
