    1. Very cool photo. Original early DDR photos (to the 1960s) are hard to find.
    2. Very interesting. Tagging to be in the loop for future replies.
    3. Congratulations on your new additions. I love this particular photo the best. Do you know anything about this ship?
    4. Value aside, it is a really cool item. I'd be happy to display it.
    5. Here is a new branch to my collecting interest- An original Polish Home Army armband and post war medal to a participant in the Warsaw Uprising of 1944. I hope to add to this thread in the future. Paul
    6. It does not make sense for a German neck order to have a wartime ribbon bar representation, when no others did. I was kinda thinking the same thing, but I am not so knowledgeable on these so I kept quiet.
    7. Regarding RAD Admin rank titles, I will have to research when I get a chance. I don't know if they used the Zahlmeister series of titles or if they just adhered to the standard RAD titles. I don't have a RAD reference book of my own to access. I have a very remote interest in the organization, but I think they are a pretty cool service and collect some random boards and pieces.
    8. I need to go to China. Those medals are amazing. Are the prices reasonable when compared to the online markets we all know?
    9. I think that you did a good job with the English translation. I understand what you are saying well. Welcome to the forum. What do you collect, specifically?
    10. OK. I see. Thank you for showing.
    11. Hi Rob, I do go to the Archives in St. Louis from time to time for work. I'd be happy to assist when I go, if possible. I do not have a regular schedule, but I can let you know when I do head that way. Paul
    12. Well, I definitely appreciate your conversation and contributions. What happened to these awards from your wife's relatives? I hope they are still in the family somewhere.
