Hello, I think he was a reactivated Feldwebel-Leutnant. A Vizefeldwebel would be awarded with a MVK second class with swords.
This MVK first class is a late production of Hemmerle, can you show better pictures of the MVO?

HI, he was VizeFW 2.8.1914, then Offz Stellv. 8.8.1914 then Lt d. L.II in April 1915.

I must fix my scanner to get a better pic, but the MVO is in a Hemmerle box.

So if the MVK is late production it must be from a different family member.

The MVO is a Hemmerle, but I cant see if it is a golden or a silver guilt medaillon. So I need the backside of this award.
I think the MVK is from another relative. What is written at ancestry about the Landwehr-Leutnant?

He was in the field with 2. Jäger from December 1914 until Dec 1915, then at the ersatz Batl until August 1916 (so he missed Verdun) then in Romania with the Battalion until he took a bullet to the lung on the 22 September 1916 and was sent to hospital in München. The Battalion history said his Bürsche saved him. The EK1 was forwarded to him to be awarded at the hospital. When he got out he was not fit for the front and took command of a Flieger Bau Komp.

I found it... the MVK was awarded to the cousin as a Feld hilfs veterinär, awarded 14.2.1918

Hello Nicolas,

 

Thank you for sharing this very nice field ribbon bar.  To me, it looks like the second ribbon is possibly for the Bavarian Bravery Medal. If so, he was probably an NCO during the First World War.  But some NCO's received temporary field grade promotions to Leutnant as the Bavarian Army needed Officers toward the end of the war.  There is no way to be certain however.  Congratulations on owning this item.

observed very well. It is a bayTM award for 1866. 
He was not there in 1870/71.

unfortunately I don't know the name. He probably got a job in the 
public service after 1866. When allocating these vacancies, 
bayTM owner were given preference.
